As a resident of the Philippines and considering the present global economy? Is it wise to maintain a dollar savings account?

   it really depends on your needs. if you are usually using usd as main currency for your business or for your family, good to have one; otherwise, you may skip it. it’s very tricky to invest in another currency. there are so many factors involve or if you really want to keep your money besides PHP, better to have it in AUD or SGD who doesn’t have much fluctuations. just my humble opinion.
