That’s a good question – an alternative budget method aside from the envelope question. Mag-research nga ako. Hehe.

But in any case, the envelope system is simple and effective – kahit through Excel mo lang ginagawa. šŸ˜€

maybe you can have different debit cards for different needs.
for example, you get your pay at your BPI expressnet ATM, you may subdivide it to BPI express cash card. just my two cents worth.

Nice i never thaught of that, debit cards hehehehe but is it legal to have multiple debit and savings account in the same bank?

or is it difficult having diff. debit cards of diff banks

  4. Fitz says:

I don’t know about debit cards but having multiple savings account in the same bank is possible as long as you open in different branches.

Thinking along this line, you can then open an ATM savings account in several branches of the same bank and fund those accounts monthly (perhaps online) from a “mother account”.

Afterwards, you can just assign each ATM card with the appropriate budget for your specific needs, ie grocery ATM, entertainment ATM, clothing ATM, etc.

you can try BPI’s SAVE-UP account parang gagawin syang sister account together with your BPI ATM express…puede kang mag-lagay ng certain amount of money dun (min P250) every month (either online or mismo sa bank na). the good thing about it is its a life-insurance+savings account na already..you can’t withdraw it sa ATM unless i-online fund transfer mo sya sa BPI ATM express mo..kumbaga kelangan may online account ka muna sa BPI pag meron ka nito..
