i am a member of a multi purpose coop in our place. it can be a source of funding if you have a business to finance or expand. the interest is not that low when compared to banks (who are very stringent with their requirements) but definitely lower than other financing groups.
you get to save too because part of your monthly amortization goes to your savings.
also, you get to enjoy a share of the profits of the coop thru dividends including the profits from your own loan
My name is Fitz Villafuerte and I own this website. I’m a Filipino entrepreneur, author, corporate trainer, and a Registered Financial Planner.
In here, I curate various questions on business, investments, and personal finance. But there are also questions about wealth, success, and life in general.
You can visit and read my blog here; and if you want to send in questions that you want me to answer, then just email me here. Thanks!
