Private or Government Employment

   Not a comprehensive answer… but private companies usually have better benefits and better career paths – plus, salaries are higher in private companies.

   I hope somebody can share some of the advantages of being a government employee.

   Okey i will share some of my views

   PRIVATE EMPLOYEMENT
   advantages
   1.Higher Salary
   2.Great COmpensation
   3.Timely Deductions and benefit approval
   4.High priority on human resources (para iwas union and strike)
   5.Contract is usually followed
   6.Some High End Companies (company car,CP, Computer, Staffhouses)

   Disadvantages
   1.SOmetimes talking to the admin staff is a pain in the A**
   2.Some of the Labor laws are disregarded due to “company prerogative” system of DOLE
   3.Higher Taxes
   4.Easy termination of contract if performance declined

   Goverment (magkahalo na ang Adv and disanvantage)
   1. Usully MAtaas ang Sweldo DUe to followed Salary Grade of the employee(eg. SALARY GRADE 15 FOR PROFESSIONALS) PERO HINDI NASUSUNOD HEHEHEH
   2. Pag naging casual employee ka walang contract to follow kung gano ka katagal magwowork, ITS EITHER YOU RESIGN OR YOU GET FIRED
   3. Hard to get hired in a goverment office BUT (PASOK kagad pag nandun si TITO< TITA, LOLO, LOLA, TATAY, NANAY, At kung sinong padrino pa)
   4. Maraming Benefits Like SSS, GSIS, PAGIBIG, PHILHEALTH and marami pa, Kaya every payday ALMOST 1/3 nlang ang salary heheheh
   5.walang mga benefits like company car, cp, computers,(PERO PWEDE mo iuwi and Goverment Vehicle Red Plate Yun hehehe, GAMITIN ang office phone for personal usage, gamitin ang laptop for personal use at ang taong Bayan ang magbabayad ng KURYENTE, GASOLINA< BILL ng telepono)

   AT HIGIT SA LAHAT
   6. HIndi Ka makakaipon ng Pera pang downpayment for a brand new Car (pero pwede ka magkaroon ng brand new PORSHE GT Carera)
