Posting Guidelines


ASK is an online community where members discuss and learn about business, investments, personal finance and other relevant topics about money and wealth.

Like all communities, all members are required to follow a core set of principles and guidelines. Violating these may result in the termination of your account without warning.

  • Please keep this website a safe, fun and positive place for everyone.
  • You are welcome and encouraged to share what you know. Your knowledge, opinion or personal experience will definitely go a long way in helping someone, someday.
  • Keep in mind that this is a diverse community of individuals with different beliefs and opinion. Treat everyone with respect. In general, be a good person.
  • Our moderators are committed in stopping users who abuse and misuse this site. But they need your help, so please do your share in keeping this a positive community by reporting abuse when you see it. All reports will be made confidential.
  • Always cite your sources and give credit where it is due.
  • Keep your questions as simple as possible, but descriptive enough to help people understand your concern.
  • Correct spelling and grammar is not required, but it is encouraged so people can find and understand your questions better.
  • Please put your question in the best category possible. This will help you get better and more accurate answers from people who regularly answer questions here.
  • This is a public domain, so please be careful when posting any information about yourself, specially contact numbers, email addresses and other details that you don’t want everyone to see.
  • This is a Philippine-based community. So asking questions and giving answers is NOT limited to English. Oo, pwede ka mag-Tagalog… at pwede ka din mangutana ug binisaya or uban pang dialects dinhi. Pero timan-i lang nga dili tanan tao makasabot ug makatabang sa imo.
  • Please ask or answer a question at least once every 3 months. To keep the database of users at a minimum, we will delete the accounts of users who have been inactive for at least 90 days. Thank you for understanding.

  • Ask questions not relevant to this website.
  • Vent, rant or use hate speech.
  • Make this into a chat room. Only post questions you have genuine concerns with and keep your answers relevant to the question being asked
  • Be mean, obscene or use vulgar language. Insults, slurs and generally objectionable speech are also not welcome.
  • Post links that are unrelated to the topic for the purpose of advertisement, marketing or SEO.
  • Solicit others for personal and financial gain. You are likewise prohibited in posting advertisements and other types of promotions here.
  • Abuse the points system just to gain a false reputation from the community.
  • Create multiple accounts to troll or disrupt the community.
  • Post anything that violates Philippine and international laws. Do not trick people into sharing personal information nor invade their personal privacy.
  • Impersonate other people nor infringe the copyright and trademark of others.
  • Misrepresent yourself nor claim false credentials and expertise as this may cause harm on others. Do not incite nor advocate unlawful, violent and abusive practices.

Please keep in mind that the administrator and moderators of this website reserves the right to revise these guidelines at any time and without notice.
